delivers a full range of services. This process includes six basic
service offerings, Strategic Review, Detail Assessment, Migration Planning,
Design, Implementation and Network Management Services, to provide the full
spectrum of consulting, design, and engineering services required to evaluate,
plan, engineer, implement, and manage a converged network.
MindLinX delivers a
strategic review of
your network infra-structure enabling a better understanding of your
network delivery requirements and capabilities. MindLinX
utilizes both quantitative and qualitative techniques and tools to
baseline your network architecture and performance. MindLinX's Strategic Review
Service also offers ongoing analysis of
your network to determine if your organization is making the right
technology decisions, if your direction and plans are consistent with your
competitors and peer organizations, and how you can best leverage your
existing technology assets.
To ensure proper integration of the architecture, capacity
planning, installation and network management solutions, Mindlinx Technology Consultants
offers a management and measurement solution tailored to
meet the needs of the client.
During any stage of the project the MindLinX management and measurement team of analysts,
consultants, engineers and application specialists can provide
high-level assessments. An initial high-level assessment can be
conducted in cases where clients are unclear about project
requirements. Project managers from each team ensure cohesive
project involvement and delivery of our recommended solutions.
They communicate to clients through a secure web-based Client Portal
for ongoing project status.
Migration Planning
In this phase of the project, MindLinX provides the design
and planning services to develop a strategy and methodology to
implement a new network or augment an existing network.
MindLinX also uses the requirements and assessments defined from all
other phases to develop detailed instructions for the implementation
including site drawings and configurations for new equipment layout
and methods and procedures for implementation.
Included in this
stage are the testing criteria and cutover methodology to ensure that
interconnection to legacy systems will not affect the performance of
the existing network.
MindLinX's Design Service tightly integrates disparate technologies to enable your core infrastructure to deliver
any service. This solution represents the successful marriage of IP and
various Layer 2 protocols, which results in a substantial synergy that exceeds the sum of
the attributes of both. IP is inherently connectionless - a foundation
for very scalable networks that offer far-reaching flexibility for
media-independent, Layer 3 services that can be applied end to end.
Layer 2 protocols are the foundation for multi-service networks that deliver the
privacy and QoS guarantees to meet the requirements of customer
Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Included in this
stage are also the testing criteria and cutover methodology to ensure that
interconnection to legacy systems will not affect the performance of
the existing network.
This service includes:
- Design of networks including cable plant, equipment and routing hierarchy
- Provide LAN, WAN, and MAN solutions using contemporary architectures
- such as Ethernet, Frame Relay, ATM, Packet-over-SONET, xWDM, and
Wireless.
- Enable a complete multicast infrastructure with IGMP, CGMP, and PIM-SM/DM
- Provide on premise interoperability, proof of concept and testing
design and implement network operation centers
Overall project success relies on successful installation, configuration and
the cutover of equipment into the network. To accomplish this
implementation, Mindlinx Technology Consultants provides a comprehensive
solution that includes the designs and methods developed from the
previous phases complementing it with implementation and testing to
ensure proper functionality.
Performance teams work with legacy carriers to test access circuits
for guaranteed proper operation prior to cutover. At cut-over, MindLinX monitors traffic for a period of time
to make sure all systems are operational and that customers are able
to transverse the network without problems or loss of functionality.
